Just a year ago Dani, known as Shake to ever growing hoard of fans, had just graduated high school in North Bergen, New Jersey. I can't really tell you when Shake began making music but one must assume she began taking her craft more seriously after getting her high school diploma. Not much is known about her personal life and this is not because I am a lazy journalist but rather by her own design and preference, and as you can see in the screenshot of one of her tweets below she is quick to shut down pesky reporters.
To be frank I respect that about her, as an artist she pours her inner most feelings into her songs and asking for more than that from her is selfish of us. Sure eventually just like The Weeknd, who employed a similar media blackout tactic before becoming the biggest R&B artist in the world after his last album, Shake will eventually have to do these interviews she dreads but on her terms.
Enough talk about interviews and such nonsense and allow me to describe to you the sound of that will "Shake the World". Most people are quick to write her off as the female answer to the new wave of singer-rappers such as Travis Scott, Tory Lanez and Bryson Tiller. Her remix of Tiller's "Dont" proves that she can execute this style with the best of them, but once you hear song "Trust Nobody" it becomes evident that this girl cannot be boxed in creatively. Her manager, Yesjulz known for her snapchat fame is actually quite the successful business woman as she has founded her own talent agency and books/sets up events around the world almost every night. I only bring this up to emphasize the point that Shake and her talented 070 crew will not follow trends but rather continue to expand creatively in their own way.
